What Does the Role Involve?
As a trustee, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction, ensuring good governance, and acting in the best interests of African Business Association, Yorkshire. Key responsibilities include:
Providing strategic guidance and oversight
• Ensuring good governance and compliance
• Attending Board meetings and participating in decision-making
• Providing oversight and scrutiny of financial management and reporting
• Supporting the development of ABA's strategic plans and policies
• Building relationships with stakeholders and partners
• Advocacy and Fundraising: Promoting African Business Association mission and supporting fundraising efforts.
Meetings:
Our trustee board meetings take place at least 10 times a year. In addition.
You may also be expected to participate in sub-committee meetings, other special projects and fundraising events.

Compensation:
This is a voluntary, unpaid position. We will cover the costs of reasonable expenses. We also offer training and personal development opportunities.
